John Clayton Mayer was born on 16^th October 1977. He is an award winning musician raised in the state of Connecticut, Bridgeport. Before moving to the city of Atlanta in 1977, he went to Berkley College of music in the state of Boston. He released two studio albums heavier things and room for squares that went to attain platinum status. The year 2003 saw him win a Grammy award for the best male pop vocal performance.

John Mayers started his career mainly performing acoustic rock but eventually made a slow transition into blues. The Mayer trio was formed in 2005 and it consisted of john Mayer, drummer Steve Jordan and base guitarist Pino Palladino. The Mayer trio was honored to open for the rolling stones 2005 October sold out club tour. The trio then released an album Try in November the same year.
