Watching the musical, wicked produced by David Stone, evokes the historical old-fashioned notion of magic fused with great music. Despite the fact that it is not easy pulling a Broadway musical in the era of science fiction, computer generated imagery as well as high definition graphics, wicked, manages to capture the attention of drama lovers as well as music lovers. Wicked Review
Wicked is definitely one of the best musicals that have ever been produced. It is based on a novel by Gregory Maguire. It is a story about the green-skinned Elphaba who is unpopular and Glinda who is a bubbly character in the musical. It is about the two witches in the Wizard of Oz and how they began an unlikely friendship. Elphaba is the Wicked Witch of the West while Glinda is the Good Witch of the North. Wicked Rochester, NY Concert Tickets

The Rochester Auditorium Center is comprised of the Auditorium Theater, and the attached Masonic Temple Complex. The Auditorium Theater is beautifully preserved and hosts a variety of Broadway plays, concerts, etc. The Masonic Temple is in use as office space for local businesses, and also has a variety of meeting rooms, auditoriums, and other types of space available for rent to the public. The entire complex is a Rochester gem, a well-preserved part of our past with lots of architectural detail that needs to be preserved. Luckily the space is proving useful and hopefully it will be maintained for many years to come. If you go to a show at the main Auditorium Theater, remember to look for the squirrels in the ceiling (hint, look closely at the plaster details).
