Boston Celtics: The Hopes of a Comeback

Boston Celtics is a successful team in the NBA with its latest commendable victory being the hallmark game of 2008 in the finals of the NBA. This game that the Boston Celtics won over the LA Lakers is arguably the win that catapulted the team back to fame having being in the wallows for a while now. However, its success at having won 17 NBA championships cannot be understated, as these are the most successive wins that any team in the NBA has ever achieved.

In this year’s NBA play offs the Boston Celtics are struggling to achieve the title once again. That is right, they are struggling, and even though they won their game against the Sacramento Kings, the games victory was not a swift impressive one. This game with the Sacramento Kings was their first in the four that need to be won by this Eastern Conference team that is up against a tough Western Conference game from the remaining three. The won against Sacramento Kings gives Boston Celtics a through way to the All-star category. Next, the Boston Celtics will take on their principle rivals the L.A Lakers to further up their ante in securing the title in the 2010 All-Star NBA.

Both fans and just plain spectators have extensively highlighted the future of the team and its feverish need to top the charts in this year’s NBA All-star games. Given that, the team is aging with most of its players being in their early or mid thirties, securing a victory in this year’s NBA playoff is very important for the Boston Celtic Players. For the team to secure their best chance of winning their 18th NBA Finals Championship the fans have their eyes on two top playmakers, Rajon Rondo and Kevin Perkins. These two are accredited for their speed and their famous double-digit scores that heralded them to the last championship of 2008.

A three-pointer form Ray Allen ensured that Boston Celtics manage to secure the same plat form as Chicago Bulls. Celtics had to make these scores otherwise, they were seeing the door. Boston Celtics emerged victorious with a possible 118-115 against the Bulls. This dramatic victory takes the Celtics to Chicago for game-three playoff against the Chicago Bulls. Both these teams have fierce competition as they each have two of NBA’s best three-pointers.

The lapse in 2009 that was attributed to the injury incurred by Kevin Garnett one the top Boston Celtic Players saw the team lose to Orlando. However, this season, the Celtics have upped their ante a scored an epic win against the Orlando Magic in the pivotal game-five playoff. Therefore, Orlando is in the least of Celtic worries. It is expected that the Boston Celtics will take their game to the next level and reign victorious in this year’s NBA playoff.
